Bridging the Investment Readiness Gap

Innovation Fund Caribbean emerged from the Caribbean Climate-Smart Accelerator’s engagement with over 300 investors and project leaders. A consistent pattern emerged from those interactions: many Caribbean projects were not investment-ready, lacking, among other things, audited financials, clear business models, or access to seed capital.

The Innovation Fund was designed to bridge this crucial funding and capacity gap. Our target is to catalyze climate-smart initiatives across three key thematic areas:

Who Can Access?

Clear criteria ensuring catalytic support reaches dedicated Caribbean-led climate initiatives with sustainable operating models.

Criterion 01

Coalition Member Operation

Caribbean-led projects and businesses that are operational and revenue generating in at least one CCSA coalition member country.

Criterion 02

Thematic Area Alignment

Must directly address at least one of our three priority areas: Blue Economy, Green Economy, or Circular Economy.

Criterion 03

Clear & Sustainable Model

Must possess a clear and sustainable project or business model with long-term viability and positive environmental impact.

Select graduated projects from our PP cohorts and mature projects that demonstrate strong investor readiness, gain direct introduction to our investor forums which are designed as pitch sessions with tailored deal-room matchmaking.
