GFANZ Caribbean
The Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) is a global coalition working to support financial institutions in mobilising capital and accelerating the transition to a resilient, low-carbon global economy.
The GFANZ Caribbean Chapter brings this global expertise, network and experience into a distinctly Caribbean context, while ensuring that the region’s priorities and perspectives help close the gap in realising its climate finance goals.
Working across the financial sector, governments, businesses and regional institutions, the GFANZ Caribbean Consultative Group focuses on strengthening transition planning, creating the conditions for greater private investment, and mobilising capital towards Caribbean climate priorities. The Chapter supports collaboration on the policies, partnerships and financing mechanisms needed to translate national and regional ambitions into investable opportunities.

Coalitions and Convenings
The Caribbean Climate-Smart Accelerator (CCSA) is rewriting the playbook on regional collaboration. We believe that fragmented efforts are the biggest barrier to progress. By convening cross-sector coalitions, we move beyond duplication to create a unified ecosystem that accelerates climate resilience, drives investment, and amplifies our region’s voice on the global stage.
CCSA has played a central role in building and convening five critical coalitions, creating a new model of collaboration across the Caribbean that reduces duplication, strengthens coordination, and accelerates impact.
Energy Development Partners Working Group
Climate finance and development resources are too valuable to be diluted by fragmented efforts. The Energy Development Partners Working Group brings development partners together around a shared view of the Caribbean’s energy priorities, helping align investments, reduce duplication, and direct resources toward the areas of greatest need.
Road to COP
A coordinated regional mechanism to ensure the Caribbean speaks with a more unified and amplified voice at the Annual Conference of the Parties (COP), enabling shared messaging, pooled resources, and stronger global representation, which leads to climate philanthropy and finance. Together, we transform individual priorities into a collective regional agenda, amplifying the Caribbean’s voice and helping unlock the climate finance and partnerships the region needs.
Single Energy Export Market
A coalition of public and private sector actors exploring the development of a regional green hydrogen market, connecting countries such as Trinidad and Dominica in a shared vision for energy export. The transition to clean energy presents an opportunity for the Caribbean to become more than a consumer of renewable energy. It can become a producer and exporter. By connecting national ambition to regional scale, we are helping position the Caribbean as a competitive player in the global clean energy economy.
GFANZ Caribbean
Emerging from the Financial Advisory Committee, this coalition brings together private sector institutions and development finance partners to collaboratively develop a pipeline of climate investments across the region.
Blue Planet Alliance (Collaborator)
CCSA has supported the Blue Planet Alliance Fellowship, bringing together regulators, utilities, governments, and civil society to collaborate, share knowledge, and raise ambition toward 100% renewable energy. By strengthening the systems behind the transition, we are helping create the conditions for Caribbean islands to move toward a cleaner, more resilient, and renewable energy future.
